Job summary

Tide Cleaners in Houston, TX is seeking a Part Time Counter Staff to assist customers with in-store service, payments, and garment handling.

You will work in a fast-paced retail setting, provide excellent guest service, manage check-ins/outs, and help train new staff while upholding Tide Dry Cleaners quality standards.

Flexibility to stand for long periods and handle busy periods is required; prior hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding in-store service for dry cleaning and laundry pick-up/drop-off customers.
• Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person; build rapport, identify needs, and resolve issues or complaints professionally.
• Perform check-in/check-out tasks, tag and spot-check garments, and organize items per customer requests.
• Accurately calculate prices and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Ensure all garments meet Tide Dry Cleaners' quality standards.
• Help train new employees in store procedures and processes.
• Open/close the store, set and meet daily goals, and maintain a clean, organized counter area.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, while standing for extended periods.
