Overview

Part Time Licensed Counselor in Florida as contractor. This is a fully remote telehealth position with Freedom Support Services. We are seeking a passionate person who fits our company culture, shares the philosophy on integrative health/wellness, and has proven experience in Christian Counseling and Couples Counseling. We want someone who participates in a collaborative team environment and can exercise leadership in the mental health space.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in Telehealth interactions as well as on social media.
• Complete intake assessments and documentation such as Mental Status Examinations, Biopsychosocial, PHQ-9, GAD, CSSRS Risk Assessment, etc.
• Maintain an average of 15+ billable hours per week.
• Effectively create and carry out treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Complete progress notes within 24 hours of time of service.
• Complete timesheets daily reflecting the billable hours worked.
• Maintain client charts and keep complete and correct documentation.
• Complete discharge summaries as required by insurance.
• Develop rapport with clients to facilitate a healthy professional relationship.
• Exercise sound clinical and professional judgment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time experience in a clinical environment.
• Licensed as a Professional Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage & Family Therapist in the State of Florida.
• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy.
• Clinical experience with couples, Christian Counseling, and related issues (trauma, anxiety, parenting, depression, etc.).
• State licensure.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, and ability to work collaboratively with other health care professionals.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage caseload, appointments, and follow-up.
• Problem-solving abilities.

Preferences

• Experience and/or willingness to learn how to treat couples; Christian couples preferred.
• Experience providing Telehealth services.
• Experience working with historically underserved and marginalized communities (race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, etc.).

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is up to $50 per billable hour DOE, with payment as a percentage of what is billed per case based on licensure status and years of experience.

Note: This is a 1099 role. We require availability for at least two days per week with a minimum of 15 billable hours per week. You can create your own schedule with a flexible range of days and times.
