Job summary

HCO Behavioral Health is seeking Licensed Mental Health Professionals to join as independent contractor counselors and therapists for telehealth services across the United States. A 1099 arrangement allows flexible hours while building a full clinical caseload over time.

Requirements include a master's or doctoral degree in a related field, licensure, and at least two years of post-licensure experience. Strong assessment, treatment planning, and telehealth proficiency are essential to deliver

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in a telehealth setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and technology for virtual sessions.

Responsibilities

• Join us as we expand our online counseling platform. You provide the clinical expertise, and we take care of everything else.
• Consistent referrals: opportunities to build a full clinical caseload within the first 30-90 days
• Conduct virtual individual, group, family, and teen counseling sessions using HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide medication management services for clients as appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal client outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

Position

We are currently seeking Licensed Mental Health Professionals (such as Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Psychologists) to join our team as independent contractor counselors and therapists. There is potential for long-term full-time positions.
