Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Oak View in Silver Spring, MD. This part‑time role provides hands‑on therapy to help residents improve daily function and independence under OT supervision.

The position emphasizes engagement in activities of daily living, mobility, and functional skills, with a supportive interdisciplinary team and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland COTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Work with residents on activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills.
• Carry out individualized treatment programs developed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the clinical team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and therapeutic activities.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
