Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Oak View in Silver Spring, MD. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and hands-on therapy to help residents improve daily function and independence.

You will provide OT treatments under supervision, support residents with ADLs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and adjust care plans.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland COTA license required.
• New graduate COTAs welcome.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Work with residents on activities of daily living, strength, coordination, balance, and functional skills.
• Carry out individualized treatment programs developed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the clinical team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and therapeutic activities.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
