PAGNY is recruiting for a part-time physician to deliver primary care within the correctional health services network in New York City. You will work with a care delivery team and provide comprehensive evaluations for admissions, manage emergencies, and ensure standard-of-care adherence in a jail setting.

The role requires NY licensure, DEA, BCLS/ACLS, and infection control certification, plus 3–5 years of related experience and EHR familiarity.

Formación

• Must be NYS-licensed with DEA and BCLS/ACLS and Infection Control Certification.
• Board certification or eligibility in a medical specialty.
• 3–5 years of directly related experience, including residency.
• Familiar with EHR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Completes histories and physicals on new admissions.
• Diagnoses and treats acute and chronic illnesses.
• Evaluates need for consults and prioritizes them.
• Reviews specialty clinic and hospital returns and implements recommendations.
• Responds to emergencies promptly and maintains standards of care.
• Supervises PAs/NPs and co-signs notes and orders.
• Adheres to CHS policies and attends mandatory in-services.
