Job summary

The Oasis Club at Champions Gate in Davenport, FL is seeking a motivated Part-Time Cook II to join our culinary team within Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality. You will learn, produce, and plate high-quality dishes while maintaining standards and sanitation in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include following recipes, expediting orders, assisting with banquet functions, managing deliveries, and supporting the chef with daily prep.

Qualifications

• Associates culinary degree and 2 years of culinary experience or equivalent.
• SERV Safe certification preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Learn and maintain standards in food production and quality.
• Expedites orders in a timely manner.
• Practices excellent sanitation.
• Executes scheduled banquet functions.
• Maintains a professional relationship with fellow associates.
• Helps reduce loss/waste.
• Communicates equipment repair needs with the chef.
• Actively participates in training efforts.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Checks and dates all deliveries received and reports any variances to the chef in charge.
• Verify that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and clean them daily.
• Processes inventory requisition and receives supplies as necessary for quality production.
• Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.
• Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product.
