• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes, safety instructions, and communicate with team members.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle kitchen tools and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Capability to follow directions from the Head Chef and work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and workstations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate meal preparation and delivery.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and moving kitchen supplies.
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or spoilage to management.
