Job summary

Anthony’s Beach Cafe is seeking a dedicated Cook in Gig Harbor, WA to prepare and cook a variety of dishes to Anthony’s standards. You will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely service and quality, while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen dedicated to safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have hands-on cooking experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work well under pressure during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation in a professional kitchen.
• Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes and safety instructions.
• Manual dexterity and stamina to stand for long periods and handle kitchen tools.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and stations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth service.
• Stand for extended periods and move kitchen supplies as needed.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or spoilage.
