Job summary

WindRiver Management Corporation is seeking a talented Cook for our Cedar Creek Lodge senior living community. The role is part-time with hours from 6am to 6pm, and you will create delicious, nutritious meals that delight residents and meet dietary needs.

You will ensure food safety, collaborate on menu ideas, and provide friendly service in a busy kitchen while maintaining clean, compliant workspaces. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to support resident dining

Qualifications

Three to five years' experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant, hotel, or senior living community preferred.
Experience as a short order cook required.
Must have full scale recipe production experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
Collaborate with our culinary team to develop innovative menu ideas and seasonal offerings.
Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, catering to their individual preferences and dietary needs.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
