Job summary

Leisure Living Cascade Trails is seeking a Part-Time Cook to work 11am–7pm, preparing meals per planned menus while maintaining quality standards in the dining services department.

You will consider resident preferences, safety standards, and special diets; ensure appealing plate presentation; assist with inventory and sanitation; and support events and daily dining room service with high hospitality. Multitasking and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; six months cooking experience preferred.
• Experience cooking and baking from scratch in a commercial setting is preferred.
• Ability to communicate respectfully with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritionally balanced meals based on planned menus.
• Consider resident preferences and food safety standards in meal prep.
• Ensure pleasing plate presentation for all meals.
• Offer and prepare residents' special diets as requested.
• Serve in dining room, set up, and clean up with high hospitality standards.
• Assist with inventory and maintain kitchenette supplies.
• Follow sanitation schedules for equipment and dining areas.
• Participate in event preparation and resident interactions.
