Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities seeks a part-time kitchen team member to prepare high-quality meals for residents, following standard recipes and dietary orders. Shift: 2:30pm–7:00pm.

You will work with the Director of Food & Beverage and the Sous Chef to manage food and supply; secure items in time for prep, store leftovers properly, and maintain inventories. Qualifications

• At least two years of kitchen experience in a hotel/restaurant or similar operation.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards.
• Clear communication and ability to work with team.
• Self-motivated, organized, and professional; able to multitask.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage all aspects of food and supply management including securing items in time for food prep, ensuring leftovers are stored correctly, and inventories maintained.
