Qualifications

• Must have cooking experience
• Experience with grilling, cooking and baking
• Willing to obtain a Food Safety or Sanitation license
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare palatable, presentable food for residents, patients, and retail business.
• Follow all food safety protocols.
• Adhere to and provide nutritional requirements as directed with menus or through Registered Dietitian.
• Follow resident diet guidelines including therapeutic diets, pureed diets, and mechanically altered diets as well as any allergen avoidances.
• Follow all proper cleaning/sanitation procedures and thoroughly clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Complete all cleaning duties daily and per shift as assigned, posted, and requested.
• Love to cook with great food presentation.
