Job summary

Bayfield County Jail is seeking a part-time food service assistant to support the kitchen operations. You will prepare meals for inmates, maintain cleanliness, and follow the menu plan.

You will update records, assist Lead Cook with ordering supplies, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires 20 hours weekly, including some weekends and holidays.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least three years in food service, preferably with large-scale kitchens.

Qualifications

• Three or more years experience in food service.
• Preferable experience in quantity food service for large groups.
