Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled part-time Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The part-time Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food preparation and cooking techniques adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials based on seasonal ingredients and availability.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create and maintain a positive, efficient, and productive work environment.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Engage in daily prep work to ensure all ingredients and items are ready for service.
- Handle food waste and leftovers in accordance with company policies.
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role preferred.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
