Part-Time Cook (Seasonal)

University City Housing (UCH), a Philadelphia-based firm managing over 4,000 residential units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space since 1967, is seeking a motivated and responsible Part-Time Cook to work in a fast-paced full-service clubhouse located at Summit Park Apartments in Roxborough/Manayunk. Our clubhouse features a fitness facility, tennis courts, pools, a restaurant and bar, shuttle service, and a full events calendar. We encourage residents to ‘Have Fun Where You Live,’ and this role is crucial in making that happen.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
  • Set up and stock food items and supplies
  • Prepare food by cutting, chopping, mixing, and making sauces
  • Cook using grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods according to recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and food sanitation, handle food properly, and ensure correct storage
  • Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces after shifts
  • Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and summer holidays
  • Minimum one year of kitchen experience preferred
  • Must have or be willing to obtain ServSafe Certification
