Job summary

The Diocese of Greensburg is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join our team. The Cook will handle preparation, cooking, serving, and proper storage of meals, while maintaining cleanliness and safety in kitchen and dining areas.

This role supports the Christ Our Shepherd Center and occasional special events, requires at least one year of institutional cooking experience, and offers approximately 25 hours per week in a supportive, service-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in institutional cooking or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

  • Assist with meal preparation and food service for special events and occasions.

  • Work cooperatively with staff to ensure smooth and efficient food service operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

TheDiocese of Greensburgis seeking an experienced, dependable, and service-orientedPart-Time Cook to join our team. This position offers an opportunity for a skilled culinary professional to contribute their talents in a welcoming environment while providing quality meals and exceptional food service.

Position Overview

The Cook is responsible for all aspects of food service, including thepreparation, cooking, serving, and proper storage of food and beverages. The Cook will also ensure the cleanliness, organization, and proper care of kitchen and dining facilities, equipment, and supplies.

As part of this role, the Cook will also assist with food preparation and serving at theChrist Our Shepherd Center, as directed, and may provide support for special events and occasions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and serve meals in a timely and professional manner.
