Job summary

The University Health Center at the University of Maryland College Park seeks contractual registered nurses for a part-time, on-site role reporting to the Health Center. You will provide general nursing care and respond to health emergencies on campus.

Responsibilities include administering treatments per physician orders, patient assessment, documentation in the electronic medical record, and collaboration with medical staff. Requires Maryland RN licensure and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and RN licensure in Maryland.
• -Three (3) years of nursing experience.
• -Current CPR certification.
• -Knowledge of patient assessment, treatments, and nursing care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatments per physician instruction or policies.
• Assess and respond to patient issues using standard nursing protocols.
• Maintain nursing skills including injections, assessments, and diagnostics.
• Document care in the electronic medical record and communicate with the medical team.
