Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Maryland is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse in Annapolis, MD. The RN will provide direct nursing care and support center operations with travel to Baltimore 1 day weekly.

The role requires confidentiality, teamwork, and adherence to clinical guidelines. The position emphasizes patient flow, documentation in EPM/EHR, medication administration, and collaboration with clinicians to maintain high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Valid Maryland RN license required.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• ACLS or willingness to obtain within 180 days.
• Reproductive health/abortion care experience preferred.
• English fluency required; Spanish fluency desired.
• Willingness to support Planned Parenthood mission.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care across health center areas according to SOPs and guidelines.
• Perform ultrasound, medical histories, counseling, vitals, and labs to ensure patient flow and quality care.
• Enter patient data into EPM and EHR and maintain documentation.
• Assist with patient notification and follow-up per policies and guidelines.
• Prepare and administer medications per clinician orders and regulations.
