Job summary

BronxWorks in Bronx, NY is seeking a Content/Education Specialist to design and manage program content across physical activity, performing arts, STEM, and social-emotional learning. You will work with Program Director and Activity Specialists to implement engaging lessons and ensure quality.

The role requires a master’s degree or a BA with youth development experience, strong communication, and proficiency with office technology.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred or BA with at least one year of education/youth development experience.
• Experience with youth development best practices.
• Ability to work with children in grades K-5 and interact well with others.
• Proficiency with standard office technology and communications tools.

Responsibilities

• Support program staff through observation, supervision, coaching, training, and professional development to ensure program quality.
• Hold weekly/monthly meetings with Counselors to identify educational needs and plan events.
• Conduct weekly observations of group activities and lessons.
• Develop program themes and provide resources, lessons, and materials to infuse them into programming.
