Job summary

College of Southern Nevada (CSN) invites applications for a Part-Time Instructor, Construction – FY 2027. The position teaches Construction Management and/or Construction Technology courses, with in-person and online delivery at CSN Summerlin, daytime and evening hours.

The role includes advising students and helping develop curriculum, with course availability driving workload. Minimum five years CM experience required; a degree in Construction Management and familiarity with Canvas/learning

Qualifications

• Five years of Construction Management experience.
• Degree in Construction Management (preferred).
• Knowledge of Canvas or other learning management systems (preferred).
• Experience with computer classroom technologies (preferred).
• Experience with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lecture and lab instruction for Construction Management and/or Construction Technology courses.
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes.
• Provide advisement to students.
• Assist with program and curriculum development as requested.
• Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested.
