Qualifications

• Valid Indiana Workplace Specialist license or eligibility based on 3–5 years of construction industry experience.
• Strong ability to teach and supervise students in hands-on settings.
• Ability to build relationships with area employers and oversee work-based learning opportunities.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a construction training curriculum aligned with Indiana standards and credential requirements.
• Provide hands-on instruction in civil and commercial construction, including safety and core competencies.
• Deliver instruction with real-world applications in civil construction (infrastructure, site work) and commercial construction (framing, carpentry).
• Supervise students in lab/shop and at sites, maintaining safety and tool use.
• Deliver and track student credentials and assist licensure/continuing education.
