Job summary

Bi-County Collaborative in Walpole, MA is seeking a part-time Orientation & Mobility Specialist to support PreK–12 students with visual impairments on site. The role involves direct service delivery, assessments, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with visual impairments.
• Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist (COMS).
• Knowledge of orientation and mobility assessments and instruction.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to perform physical duties with students as needed in various locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to students and conduct assessments.
• Develop IEP plans and evaluate progress.
• Collaborate with therapists, educators, and parents.
• Deliver educational services on-site for PreK–12.
• Plan safe travel routes and assess campus travel safety.
