Job summary

Lone Star College is seeking a PT Assistant II, Computer Research to support a project in data collection, analysis, and software development. You will assist with experiments, algorithm development, and documentation for research topics, working under a supervisor in a university lab environment.

Responsibilities include data management, literature reviews, collaboration with the team, and administrative support. Must have a HS diploma or GED and an AS/AAS in CS or related field.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with an AS/AAS in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Data management and analysis with statistical software and scripting.
• Software development and experimental use of AI tools for research topics.
• Technical support for databases, maintenance and testing.
• Literature review and reporting; prepare figures and manuscripts.
• Collaborate with research team and attend meetings.
• Administrative tasks and general research support.
