Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds independently and 150–250 pounds with team or mechanical aid.

Responsibilities

• Respond to transfer calls on an on-call basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Transport decedents to the funeral home with professionalism and discretion.
• Complete and maintain transfer documentation and chain-of-custody records.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean, ready, and safe for use.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with families and facility staff during removals.
• Follow safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
