Job summary

Chicago Methodist Senior Services (CMSS) is seeking a part-time Transportation Aide to provide safe, timely rides for adult day program members to and from the center, assist with mobility, and support participant safety in line with program policies.

You will follow the Illinois Vehicle Code, help passengers board and exit, use seat belts and mobility devices, and perform routine vehicle inspections, reporting incidents as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois driver's license appropriate to the vehicle size; endorsements as needed.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Transport ADS members to and from the program and approved activities.
• Ensure passenger safety, use of seat belts, and assist with mobility devices.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Maintain participant safety and dignity during transport.

Education
