Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC is seeking a friendly, dependable caregiver to support a young female with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will assist with ADLs, accompany to community outings, and promote independence in daily living.

This independent contractor role pays $16 per hour with Fridays 1pm-5pm schedule. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass background screening are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events and outings.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

The individual is a young female in need of a companion to support with ADL's, and supervision in community outings.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $16.00 hourly.

Schedule: Fridays 1pm-5pm
