Job summary

The City of Nacogdoches, Recreation Division, is seeking a Part-Time Athletic Assistant to help manage gymnasiums and outdoor athletic facilities for youth and adult sports.

Responsibilities include supporting officials, enforcing rules, handling customer service, registering participants, and preparing facilities and equipment. Evening, weekend shifts and a valid driver’s license required; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in recreational activities or knowledge of sports preferred.
• High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Support officials and enforce rules.
• Provide customer service, answer calls, and register participants.
• Prepare, inspect and clean facilities and equipment.
• Work irregular hours, including evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.
