Job summary

Sorenson Communications, LLC is seeking part-time Deaf and hearing community interpreters to provide high-quality interpretation services across Wisconsin locations. You will interpret between ASL and spoken English and support both Deaf and hearing consumers, with flexible hours meeting community demand.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, interpreter certification as required by local regulations, and the ability to travel within the metropolitan area.

Qualifications

• Diploma or better in High School or related field.
• Interpreter certification as required by local regulations.
• 3 years’ experience interpreting (preferred).
• Ability to travel independently within the metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Interpret between ASL and spoken English for Deaf and hearing clients.
• Provide accurate and confidential interpretation in community settings.
• Maintain professionalism and customer service standards.
• Adapt to various environments and schedules as needed.
