Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support for an adult with developmental disabilities in Union, NJ. The role focuses on companionship, independence-building, and meaningful in-home and community activities.

The schedule is Tue and Thu, 4 pm–6 pm, with potential for more hours. Driving on shift is required. Pay ranges from $17 to $21 per hour, with a strong emphasis on reliable, compassionate care.

• Warm, patient, dependable and genuinely interested in building a consistent relationship.
• Able to reliably work the posted schedule.
• Comfortable supporting an adult one-to-one in home and community settings.
• Driving on shift is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one companionship and person-centered support.
• Help the individual participate in Community Based and In Home Supports.
• Support errands, appointments, recreation, volunteering, social opportunities, or other community activities as applicable.
• Encourage independence, communication, decision-making, self-advocacy, and life skills.
• Provide reminders, routine support, or light assistance as required by the case.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a caring, dependable Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support to an adult with developmental disabilities in Union, NJ.

About This Opportunity

This individual is looking for a RELIABLE and committed DSP who can provide companionship, for a 25 year old individual with Autism. DSP will be supportive, encouraging, and attentive to the individual’s needs, helping them stay engaged, build independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences at home and in the community.

What You’ll Do
