Job summary

Drexel University in Philadelphia is seeking Community Outreach & Intervention Facilitators to support an NIH-funded study aimed at improving sleep, stress recovery, social connection, and wellbeing among men in low-resource communities.

This 50% effort position combines outreach and recruitment with delivery of a structured group health intervention. You will assist screening, enrollment, scheduling, and follow-up while collaborating with the PI and research team.

Qualifications

• Experience in outreach, recruitment, or related activities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust.
• Comfortable discussing research participation and health topics.
• Ability to facilitate conversations on sensitive topics.
• Reliable, organized, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct community outreach and participant recruitment with community partners.
• Support screening, enrollment, scheduling, reminders, and follow-up.
• Maintain recruitment and participant-tracking records.
• Facilitate structured intervention sessions using the project curriculum.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Communicate recruitment progress and engagement to the Program Manager.
