Job summary

Girl Scouts of Connecticut is seeking a temporary part-time Program Facilitator to deliver community-based programming to girls in grades K–12 across Hartford, Bridgeport and surrounding communities. You will work with volunteers, staff and community partners to meet council goals, maintain attendance records, and travel regionally as needed.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of staff and youth are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Experience working with youth or related programs preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of GSUSA programming or ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver community-based programming to meet the council's Plan of Achievement goals.
• Maintain attendance, incidents, surveys, and other required records.
• Develop and sustain collaborative relationships with schools, community organizations, and volunteers.
• Work cooperatively with program partners, volunteers, and council staff.
• Promote additional council Girl Scout opportunities beyond community-based programming.
• Assist with packaging program materials and supporting curriculum delivery.
• Embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion in all programs.
