CJR in Waterbury, CT is hiring a Part-Time Program Facilitator for the SAFE Waterbury program. This seasonal/temporary role involves outreach with at-risk youth, coordinating activities, and maintaining student records.

A bachelor’s degree and driving license are required, with strong communication and collaboration skills emphasized. Work hours are 15 per week, with two time options 2:00–5:00pm or 2:30–5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with at-risk youth.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities and maintain student records.
• Maintain daily contact with all program participants and inform parents of absences.
• Plan and implement lessons for job club and organize speaker’s bureau.
• Facilitate job shadowing opportunities and coordinate parent meetings.
