Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a part-time role serving meals to seniors and delivering home‑delivered meals in the local community. You will be the first point of contact for customer relations, follow up on concerns, and help create a supportive climate for the service.

Driving is required; mileage reimbursement is available. Shifts are 9:30am–1pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of group leadership or food service experience.
• Must read and follow verbal instructions.
• Willing to build relationships with community organizations to support seniors.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily meal service operations for homebound seniors.
• Manage volunteer scheduling, training and retention.
• Maintain client and volunteer records and program documentation.
• Engage with diners and volunteers to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Deliver home‑delivered meals and assist in meal events.
