Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS) is looking for a community dining assistant who will serve meals to seniors and package home-delivered meals. You will be the first point of contact for diners and volunteers, helping create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and representing the agency with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience in group leadership activities and working with older adults in a host/hostess role or in food service.
• Must be able to read and follow verbal instructions.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve community dining from bulk to seniors and package home-delivered meals for delivery.
• Represent Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota as the provider of this service, be the first point of contact for customer relations and follow up on concerns.
• Engage with diners and volunteers to promote a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
