Job summary

MMIII INC is seeking a part-time Maintenance Worker for Mayfield Manor III, located at 3830 11th St SW, Canton, OH 44710. The role runs 21 hours per week (Mon, Wed, Thu, 7:30am–2:30pm) with a wage of $25.68/hour.

Sick time, vacation time, and pension are included as benefits. The Maintenance Person reports to the Building Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager, Regional Manager, and EHDOC and participates in all safety programs and emergency procedures as required.

Qualifications

• Basic universal license is required, may be completed during the first year of employment.
• 3 years of building maintenance experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and janitorial services.
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to work with elderly and handicapped residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance projects as scheduled by the Supervisor.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs and maintain records.
• Respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours or notify supervisor of delays.
• Join the on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and prepare units for turnover.
• Perform painting, cleaning, and repairs to ensure occupancy readiness.
