Community Options, Inc. in Northumberland, PA seeks a Part-Time Community Integration Counselor to support individuals in building life skills and independence.

The CIC will meet participants regularly, assist with community integration efforts, document progress, and coordinate leisure and volunteering opportunities. Responsibilities include driving to appointments, administering medications with proper documentation, and ensuring timely program records.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Minimum of two years supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Ability to establish a supportive relationship with individuals receiving services.
• Employment contingent on background checks and drug testing.

Responsabilidades

• Support individuals to increase independence and life skills.
• Meet waiver participants regularly at residence, community, or office.
• Provide ongoing support for community integration efforts.
• Document progress toward community integration goals.
• Coordinate leisure and volunteer activities.
• Administer medications and ensure proper documentation.
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and activities.
• Ensure timely completion of program documentation and billing records.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections.
