Job summary

Legacy is seeking a Part Time Maintenance team member to maintain the appearance and upkeep of our manufactured home community in Lakeland, FL, working with a talented team to support growth and resident satisfaction.

This outdoor role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of maintenance experience, with duties ranging from landscaping and general repairs to safety inspections and after-hour calls.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Solid knowledge of building trades, cleaning procedures and general maintenance.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping around clubhouse, watering grass and shrubs.
• Conduct monthly water meter reads.
• Deliver notices to residents.
• Maintain landscaping of common areas, trimming trees and bushes.
• Daily trash pickup throughout the community.
• Keep pathways clear around sidewalks, clubhouse and mail areas.
• Maintain the community pool to meet health standards.
• Assist with winter insulation of meter pits.
• Respond to after-hours water/sewer calls.
• Troubleshoot water/sewer breaks.
• Repair broken water meters.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Follow up on maintenance and repairs.
• Safety inspections as scheduled.
• Plan tasks to meet workload deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
