Job summary

Community Concepts Maine is seeking a Part-Time Community Education Coordinator to raise public awareness of child abuse prevention. The position is 25 hours per week and can be based in Lewiston or South Paris, with occasional travel across the service area.

The role brings together community stakeholders, leads trainings, ensures data collection and reporting, and supports referrals and inquiries. Strong customer service and communication skills, plus autonomy and teamwork, are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Human Services or health-related field.
• Three years of project coordination experience preferred.
• Two years of direct service experience preferred.
• Pre-employment checks including background screenings and driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Bring together community stakeholders and partners to raise awareness and improve supports.
• Lead and implement prevention programs and trainings in various curriculums.
• Ensure proper data collection and reporting is completed.
• Assist with referrals, inquiries, and parenting requests.
