Job summary

Community Concepts Maine in Lewiston is seeking a Family Development Coach to join our 40-hour weekly schedule, generally 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility to meet clients' needs.

You will engage with families using a Whole Family Approach, perform comprehensive assessments, advocate with agencies, and coordinate timely services. Strong communication skills, reliability, and experience with Microsoft Office are important; a high school diploma is required, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; additional college coursework or related certification preferred.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Related experience working with the general public required.
• Five years related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient with Microsoft Office; work autonomously and in a team.

Job description

We are seeking a Family Development Coach motivated to make a difference at our Lewiston Office. This position is 40 hours, generally 8am-4:30pm, Monday Through Friday, however it requires flexibility to accommodate the needs of clients.

Salary

• Starting Range: $18.23-$21.00, depending on education and experience

Essential Duties

• Engage with families to collaboratively build partnerships to identify strengths and needs through a Whole Family Approach
• Complete comprehensive assessments with clients in order to support each individual and family unit to set and meet goals
• Advocate for families by collaborating with internal programs and external agencies to support application completion and ongoing partnerships
• Provide service similar to case management/care coordination to ensure clients receive timely and coordinated services
• Keep accurate and detailed documentation on clients, support with data collection, and data entry

• Other Requirements: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; competency with Microsoft Office; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team.
