Job summary

Via of the Lehigh Valley seeks a part-time Community Coach (Direct Support Professional) to support individuals with disabilities in the community. The role starts at $17/hour with higher rates for degrees and NADSP ladder completion. You can earn up to an extra $1.75/hour after all three ladder levels are completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with disabilities to achieve goals.
• Work independently in the community.
• Visit museums, attend local events, and help participants volunteer.
• Use creativity to plan activities for those supported.
• Collaborate with team members.
