Job summary

Spur Staffing in Decatur, IL, seeks a part-time Assistant Community Center Supervisor for the Point Mallard Pickleball facility. The role includes supervising the facility, checking patrons in, cleaning, and opening/closing duties with shifts 6:45 am–1:00 pm or 3:45 pm–9:00 pm; the site operates 7 days a week.

The position requires strong communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to lift 25 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors. Uniforms provided on hire.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating community programs.
• Knowledge of program planning and management.
• Familiarity with public relations principles.
• Proficiency with modern office procedures and equipment.
• Familiarity with computers and relevant software.
• Experience developing and delivering patron programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programming for community center patrons.
• Maintain database of patron information.
• Maintain reservation calendar and schedules facility rentals.
• Record patron payments.
• Monitor facility use.
• Open and close the facility.
• Set-up and break-down of equipment.
• Clean and maintain center facilities.
• All other duties as assigned.
