Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 18 grad hours in relevant communications
• One year of professional experience in the communications field
• Experience teaching adult learners

Responsibilities

• Prepare course outlines and teach based on approved departmental syllabi
• Design and update course content as needed
• Prepare and administer meaningful assessments for assigned courses
• Be available outside of class to help students learn
• Adhere to UIW Faculty Handbook policies and procedures
• Conduct respectful relationships with faculty, staff, and students
• Maintain contact with the academic affairs team and participate in meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
