Qualifications

• Earned MA, MT.S., or M.Div. degree.
• At least one year of successful teaching experience at the college or university level with documentation of student evaluations.
• ABD, Ph.D., or ThD preferred.
• Relevant ministry experience considered in lieu of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course outlines and teach courses in Religious Studies using approved departmental syllabi.
• Prepare and administer timely assessments (essays, exams) reflecting learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with department to ensure standard curriculum outcomes are met.
• Be available outside of class to assist students and answer questions.
• Adhere to UIW Faculty Handbook policies and procedures, including timely record-keeping and feedback.
• Maintain professional relationships with faculty, staff, and students.
