The Davis Museum at Wellesley College is seeking a part-time Communications Coordinator to help launch an updated outreach strategy and connect the museum with students, staff, faculty, and the wider community.

You will manage social media calendars, design graphics for posters and digital content, write public-facing emails and newsletters, and liaise with local media while coordinating with student workers.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media channel management and promoting brands.
• Creative graphic design experience for posters, digital content, and social media posts.
• Ability to monitor current events, think critically, and make sound promotional decisions for the Davis Museum.
• Report and track audience engagement on digital platforms.
• Understanding of when to use AI tools to generate content.
• Photography experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Managing social media, outreach calendars, campus screens, and website updates.
• Graphic design for posters, digital content, and advertisements.
• Outward facing communications such as media relations, draft press releases, craft public facing emails, and newsletter content.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May supervise student workers.
