Scientific Adventures for Girls (SAfG) is seeking a creative, detail-driven Communications Coordinator to help tell our STEM bridge story to the world. This role blends social media, newsletters, press outreach, and event storytelling in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
You will manage content across platforms, design newsletters, and capture stories from our programs. The role requires 2–4 years in communications and a passion for girls in STEM.

The Communications Coordinator position is part-time, hourly, non-exempt. This role reports directly to the Director of Development and Communications and plays a central part in communications and marketing.
You’ll join a small, passionate team doing big things — work that directly expands opportunity for girls in underserved East Bay communities. This is a chance to see your storytelling turn into real impact: more girls in STEM classrooms, more donors invested in the mission, more community partners at the table.
