Science from Scientists (SciSci) is a STEM education nonprofit with a mission to teach and inspire the next generation of students to identify and solve real‑world problems by improving STEM literacy. We do this by sending real scientists and/or STEM professionals directly into classrooms to guide students through hands‑on STEM lessons that are aligned with academic standards and chosen by teachers to enhance existing curriculum. SciSci is growing, as is our need to share our stories through organic social media content and collaborations in a new way. This new hybrid role will own all elements of our social media content creation. This includes, but is not limited to, the initial ideation and concepting, script development, filming, graphic design, editing, reviews and approvals, platform optimization, reporting, coordination, and communication. This role supports elements of fundraising, educational partnerships, business development, account management, and community engagement. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, communicating with diverse stakeholders, creating new opportunities, storytelling, celebrating science, and helping support mission-driven organizational growth. The Social Media Content Creator & Coordinator works closely with the Chief Partnerships Officer and the Director of Marketing, while collaborating with team members across Massachusetts, Minnesota, and California to support organizational growth and sustainability. Occasional local travel to meetings, schools, events, conferences, and partner events is required.

- Asset Creation & Production: Schedule, coordinate, film, and create all required content elements using the provided equipment and software. Occasional coordination with a third‑party production company may be required. On-screen and voice‑over hosting of content may be required.
- Post-production: Complete video editing, color adjustment, sound design, visual effects, rendering in all required formats, and developing all UTM tracking links.
- Stakeholder sign-off: Fast-track final stakeholder reviews for contractual compliance, legal concerns, and licensing rights.
- Scheduling & Distribution: Collaborate with Marketing on release scheduling, upload, and stage content for the final staging check.
