Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher with two years of directly related professional experience; or an Associate degree with six years of directly related professional experience; or a valid California Community College Credential; or the equivalent education and/or experience (equivalency).

Responsibilities

• Teaching a part-time schedule of Commercial Music courses as assigned.
• Using a variety of pedagogies and delivery systems including face-to-face, online, and/or hybrid formats.
• Communicating effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Using effective teaching methods aligned with course objectives and approved curricula.
• Evaluating student progress through tests, assignments, and other assessments.
• Providing course syllabi to students and maintaining classroom records.
• Submitting timely student grading and evaluation reports.
• Handling diverse instructional settings and schedules as needed.
• Fulfilling all duties and responsibilities of instructors as required by Administrative Regulation 7122; and other duties as assigned.
