Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana seeks Adjunct Faculty on a per-semester basis to teach assigned classes for 8 or 16 week contracts. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, preparing syllabi and assessments, and maintaining student records in line with FERPA and college policies.

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor’s degree or higher from regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of directly related work experience.
• Licensed nurse with unencumbered Indiana license for CNA/Lab/HLHS courses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned classes according to College policy and course objectives.
• Develop/maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Facilitate student learning using appropriate technology to enhance instruction.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engage with students in meaningful ways that promote active learning and positive experience.
• Comply with FERPA, college policies, and safety procedures.
