Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC) seeks an Impact Leader I for College & Career Readiness in Monterey County. This part-time role supports youth through after-school homework help, tutoring in math and science, and leading college/career readiness workshops for teens.

You will help implement teen programming, track participation, and foster a positive, structured environment. You will work under supervision, coordinating with the CCR Specialist to ensure engaging, outcomes-driven

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated commitment to youth development and mission alignment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, youth-focused setting with positive discipline.

Responsibilities

Assist youth with after-school homework supervision.
Lead college and career readiness workshops for teens.
Provide tutoring in math and other core subjects for middle/high school students.
Track program participation and outcomes; suggest activity improvements.
Maintain a positive, fair, and consistent disciplinary approach.
Support school-day programming for teens and college preparation activities.
